The past few weeks have seen a flurry of SparkCognition news items, enthusiastic responses to our visual AI solution for convenience stores, and recognition for being a major key player in the cognitive computing market. Check out these recent mentions.
SparkCognition announced the deployment of Visual AI Advisor at the Adelson School campus in Nevada to detect and avert active assailant incidents. Todd Peters, Head of School Safety at Adelson, said, “SparkCognition’s AI-based school safety solution enables us to further enhance our capabilities to detect and prevent incidents on campus that could put our students and facility in harm’s way.”
We’re excited to announce SparkCognition’s recent addition of former Boeing MENA President Bernard Dunn to our board of advisors. Dunn’s career includes over three decades working in the Middle East region, holding positions of increasing responsibility and scope during his military career in Jordan, Yemen, Syria, Saudi Arabia, and Washington D.C. at the Pentagon.
And PR Newswire shared the news that SparkCognition Government Systems President and General Manager Logan Jones has been elected to the National Defense Industrial Association’s (NDIA) Board of Directors. The NDIA Board of Directors is composed of senior leaders across the broad spectrum of companies that support national security and comprise the defense industrial base. As one of its newest members, Jones joins executives from organizations like The Boeing Company, Booz Allen Hamilton, Deloitte, Raytheon Technologies, and more.
Convenience store industry publication CStore Decisions wrote about its partnership with SparkCognition to conduct a landmark study into electric vehicle charging and its impact on convenience store visits and sales.
