Event Summary

Advantage DoD 2024: Defense Data & AI Symposium invites key leaders and developers from government, industry, and academia to shape the future of data, analytics, and artificial intelligence for the U.S. military’s decision advantage. Opportunities for engagement include exploring the use of LLMs, discussing challenges in talent management and policy, networking, and showcasing ways to advance the Department of Defense (DoD) technically. A special classified session on February 23 at the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency will address classified topics related to yield, test & evaluation, protection measures, and countermeasures to mitigate risks and threats.

Stephen Strickland

Stephen Strickland is the Director of Technical Sales for SparkCognition Government Systems (SGS). He has a decade of defense experience in the U.S., both with the Department of Defense (DoD) and Industry.

Michael Langman

Michael is the Vice President of Sales & Business Development at SparkCognition Government Systems (SGS). Prior to SGS, Langman served as the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at D-Fend Solutions. Prior to D-Fend Solutions, he was at Thales USA, where he was responsible for ideating and initiating partnership activities across the Thales enterprise globally with Lockheed Martin, Boeing Defense Space & Security, L3Harris and other large defense companies. Michael also led Thales’ acquisition of artificial intelligence start-up Psibernetix.
