Event Summary

The NAML workshop is an annual collaboration between AFCEA San Diego and the Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific). It provides a platform for researchers from Navy research and development centers and partner organizations to share technical ideas and foster teamwork. The workshop aims to achieve three main goals: 1) Raise awareness of current machine learning research pertinent to Naval applications; 2) Facilitate connections between machine learning researchers and military requirements experts; and 3) Build and enhance collaborations within the defense research community.

EVENT DETAILS:

Learn how SparkCognition Government Systems uses machine learning to utilize unstructured data such as handwritten maintenance logs, PDF documents, and other formats and deliver insights that enable rapid decision-making to improve asset availability.

Ashley Sanks

Ashley Sanks is a Business Development Executive for SparkCognition Government Systems (SGS). Sanks has a decade of experience within the Business Development profession.

Stephen Strickland

Stephen Strickland is the Director of Technical Sales for SparkCognition Government Systems (SGS). He has a decade of defense experience in the U.S., both with the Department of Defense (DoD) and Industry.
