About the Speakers

Clara Midgley

Clara Midgley is an energy storage and renewable energy expert passionate about merging technical and commercial topics. As a renewable energy expert at SparkCognition, she drives the asset performance management product to help owners, operators, and service providers optimize asset performance and efficiently access insights from their operating data. Her roles prior included development engineering and analytics roles for independent power producers. Clara holds a BSE from the University of Pennsylvania in Mechanical Engineering.


Sahil Maheshwari

Sahil Maheshwari is responsible for engineering and product development for SparkCognition’s Renewable Suite. Under his leadership the team has built AI driven predictive analytics and asset performance management solution for wind, solar and storage sites. Sahil holds a B.Tech in computer science and engineering from SRM University in India and MBA in Technology Management and Entrepreneurship from UCLA Anderson School of Management. His previous experience includes working with IoT and AI SaaS applications team at Oracle where he worked on large enterprise datasets and complex application architectures. With his extensive experience in building new solutions and scaling software applications involving device connectivity, big data, software security, AI and cloud deployments, Sahil enjoys working on bringing engineering solutions to complex real-world problems, with a particular focus on energy transition and sustainability.
