From Data to Decision: How AI Enhances Warfighter Readiness

AIRED ON: March 28, 2024

Webinar Summary

On-going global conflict indicates an unsettling truth about military readiness: the U.S. and allied defense assets are not ready to win the next war. However artificial intelligence (AI) can enhance asset performance and improve reliability. Combatant commands need a proven, scalable approach that addresses ongoing maintenance requirements in real-time, enhancing the work of the maintainer. AI-enabled warfighting systems deliver speed into legacy processes, delivering improved outcomes with less-experienced personnel and arms strategic leaders with critical insights into force readiness.

The U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) relies on a vast network of supply, logistics and maintenance functions to meet its operational requirements. Maintaining an inventory of available and ready warfighting systems is critical for deterrence, as well as waging a dynamic, multi-front conflict against a peer adversary. By integrating AI into these systems, the U.S. can improve force posture and readiness at home, augment a less-skilled workforce and accelerate decision-making under decentralized C2 and the ACE concept.

IN THIS WEBINAR:

As part of this webinar, you’ll discover how AI can address some of the DoD’s biggest sustainment challenges, including:

  • How to Predict Causal Factors: Deep learning discovers from historical data and patterns
  • Accelerate Mean Time to Resolution: Eliminate time loss by identifying key content, parts and equipment and recommending the best course of action
  • Provide Real-time Trend Analysis: Visualize fleet health data as it happens
  • Streamline Workflows: Simple interfaces, fewer clicks and a reduction in redundant processes
  • Inform Strategic Leaders: Tactical data aggregated for senior decision-makers in near real-time
