Sound the Alarm: Strategies for Optimizing Renewable Asset Reliability and Performance

AIRED ON: July 13, 2023

Webinar Summary

The White House has set a target of 80% renewable energy generation by 2030 and 100% carbon-free electricity by 2035. To deliver this renewable owners and operators must achieve an unprecedented level of reliability, predictability, and efficacy. However, traditional approaches to dealing with data volumes and silos, manual processes, and inefficient workflows won’t work.

Take for example something as simple as an alarm code.

  • A single wind turbine has over 700 alarm codes
  • There is no standardization of alarm codes
  • Alarms are not only about failures but also warning, logs, and statuses.

In this webinar, you’ll learn from industry operators and AI experts the best practices in applying AI solutions to address asset performance, data challenges, energy loss calculations, and workflow management. From the discussion, you will learn how AI can enable you to scale your asset management practices profitably and how your company can:

  • Reduce alarm fatigue by as much as 90%, driving operational efficiency
  • Reduce reconciliation and report generation time by 30%
  • Validate contractual obligations in real-time rather than retroactively
  • Accurately and quickly quantify lost production
